About LKH Lingzhi Museum

Lingzhi Museum is a museum in Kota Kinabalu celebrating the goodness of the medicinal mushroom called Lingzhi (Ganoderma lucidum). The Lingzi museum has a great collections of different gigantic wild Lingzhi by the owner, Datuk Lim, it is open to the public as well as tourists. Besides showcasing his collections, Datuk also has a factory next to the museum that produces Lingzhi capsules from the 1000 years old Lingzhi which are sold within the museum.

Seventy years old Datuk Lim Kim Heng started his bonding with Ganoderma (Lingzhi) in his thirties. At that age, he was five feet eight inches tall but weighing only ninety-eight pounds. He wishes to lives up to the age of nineties, unfortunely, he was in the state of premature aging and poor health. Despite visiting many doctors and taking lots of medicines, there was no improvement; he was losing faith with the medications and life.

Finally, he met an old Chinese physician who came from China, given him a small piece of Ganoderma (lingzhi). After taking it, Datuk Lim had his first good night’s sleep, which he has not being able to for past twenty years. His many years of illness were swept away and restored to a healthy physique. After knowing that Ganoderma (Lingzhi) is a treasure , he immediately drill down for more information from the old Chinese physician, only know that the treasure is hidden in the mountains, so he rushed to find someone to go treasure hunting .

“I boiled it with the old methods after collecting the Ganoderma (Lingzhi) and continue to drink for a few months, all previous pains went away in silent, meanwhile, my appetite gets better, and hence, I started to gain weighs”. Datuk Lim was initially dubious in taking this herb, but after a few months, he was out of misery, and happy with raising eyebrows.

So he began to organize search and collecting the mushrooms aboriginal in the Sabah forest. The initial search was disappointing because all those mushrooms found were either dead or poisonous. Even so, he did not give up, because he believed there must be live before dead, he insisted on trying again and again. Two years later, he gets the first wild life Ganoderma (Lingzhi).

Datuk Lim’s bungalow was originally filled with expensive antiques which he was very proud off, but collection of the wild Ganoderma has taken over the spaces of his antiques, his house is now filled with this special super herb which can cure many illnesses. Even former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad also specifically visited his house to witness the world’s gigantic race elixir.

He said Borneo’s original forest has the unique environment for these wild Ganoderma (Lingzhi), but searching for them in the dense forests without sunlight is not easy. It all depends on your fate, no matter how long you stay in there; moreover, facing the wild animals is another challenge.

Datuk Lim always feels life is a challenge. He said: ” I ​​started with trying my luck when searching for the wild Ganoderma (Lingzhi), I thought to myself, if I succeed I might be able to live up to 150 years old or improve my physical fitness, then that will be a bonus to me, should I not find any of these treasures, I would have no loss as my heath is already in such horrible state, so, why not give it a try.” His collection of Ganoderma (Linzghi) comes in six different types, red, green, white, yellow, purple and black and they each has their own function that benefits our body system.

Gold has its’ price index, but there is no way to estimate the value of wild Ganoderma (Lingzhi), it is simply priceless, because it contains longevity medicinal properties and is the legendary elixir.

Datuk Lim invested RM 3 millions to set up “The Lingzhi Museum” in Kota Kinabalu since 2003 which is free entry for the public to visit. With his own experiences, he knew Ganoderma (Linzghi) is known as panacea for many illnesses, he decided to start a pharmaceutical production, using his seventeen years collections of Ganoderma (Lingzhi) into ​​health care products, for the benefit of ailing people .

“Over the years I offered my Ganoderma (Lingzhi) free of charge to about five hundred terminally ill patients, a terminal cancer friend was concluded by doctor having only two weeks of life, came to see me for the last time. I given him Ganoderma and taught him how to take it, anyway he left with two weeks of life, even if he don’t gets well, at least he will not suffer. Another friend’s wife who suffers from uterine cancer, I advised her to take Ganoderma (Lingzhi) before going back to the doctor again which she did so and true enough, the doctor then announced her cancer was gone. ”
Through words of mouth, these successful cases were being spread; it has drawn a lot of friends coming to me for help. So he decided to purchase a mill from Taiwan, pulverized the Ganoderma, and then packed into capsules and given free to friends.
